Welcome to the Cornerstone Production Training Portal, your central resource for learning and development across all areas of church production. Whether you're new to the team or refining your craft, you'll find step-by-step guides, videos, and tools to help you grow in skill and confidence. Each category provides focused training designed to support both technical excellence and a heart for service. Explore the sections below to get started.
General Production
The General Production section covers foundational skills every team member should know, no matter their role. From wrapping cables and identifying connectors to understanding stage directions and communication basics, this training builds a strong foundation for serving with excellence and sets the tone for a unified team.
video
The video team manages cameras, switching, and streaming to bring the service to viewers online. It’s a creative and technical role that helps extend the service beyond the room, connecting people at home to what’s happening live. Training includes camera and switcher operation, shot composition, directing, livestream software, and more.
Audio - Front of house
The Front of House (FOH) team mixes sound for the live audience in the room, ensuring clarity, balance, and an engaging worship experience. This role involves managing microphones, instruments, and overall room dynamics. Training includes console operation, live mixing techniques, signal flow, microphone selection and placement, and more.

Lighting
The lighting team shapes the mood and focus of each service through thoughtful and intentional lighting design. It’s a creative and technical role that enhances worship, supports transitions, and helps direct attention where it matters most. Training includes console use, cue building, fixture setup, DMX control, and design principles.
Audio - Broadcast
The Broadcast Audio team creates a separate mix tailored for the livestream, providing clear and polished sound for online viewers. Since the room mix doesn’t always translate well to a stream, this role focuses on translation across different devices. Training covers mixing for broadcast, using reference monitors, and working with DAWs.

Graphics
The graphics team supports worship and teaching by displaying lyrics, slides, and media through ProPresenter. It’s a detail-focused role that helps keep the service smooth, clear, and distraction-free. Training covers slide preparation, cueing content, syncing with worship and teaching moments, and working with the broader production team.
