Cornerstone Community Church COVID-19 Safety Policy

As we begin meeting in person again, it is of high priority to Cornerstone’s leadership that we do everything to keep our church family healthy. With the State’s recommendations in mind, we have established the following policies that will be reviewed and modified on a monthly basis. As we strive to show love to our fellow Cornerstonians, remember that everyone has different health concerns, risk factors and fears.

  • If you do not feel well (fever, cold or flu-like symptoms, etc.), please refrain from joining the in-person service and join us virtually instead.
  • Our regular cleaning routine is being increased in thoroughness and frequency.
  • Everyone in the building should wear a mask (except children aged 2 and under). There will be limited masks available for anyone who does not have one.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available. It is advised to apply it upon entry to the building. Alternatively, wash your hands in the restroom.
  • We will be practicing physical distancing.
    • Upon entering the church, limit mingling and take a seat in the sanctuary.
    • Seat groupings will be 6+ feet apart.
    • Entry and exit doors will be one-way.
    • Everyone should refrain from hugging, shaking hands, elbow bumping, and other forms of physical contact.
    • The building will be below 25% capacity.
    • For now, we will not be doing Meet and Greet time.

This year the event will be both livestream and in-person.

Date: Thursday, May 6, 2021
Time: 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm
In-person location: Cornerstone Community Church

2 Corinthians 3:17: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NLT) Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
